Terms of Service
Effective June 4, 2026 · Applies to the KALLED.IT website and iOS app
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using KALLED.IT ("the service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What KALLED.IT is
KALLED.IT is a prediction reputation and social competition platform. You publish timestamped predictions, lock them before the event happens, and build a verifiable public track record. KALLED.IT is not a gambling, betting, sportsbook, wagering, or money-prize platform. No real-money winnings are paid out for predictions, and no consideration is required to participate in the core prediction or leaderboard features. Optional in-app Prediction Points are a non-monetary reputation score, have no cash value, and cannot be withdrawn, traded, or redeemed for money or anything of value.
3. Eligibility and age
You must be at least 18 years old to use the service. KALLED.IT is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under this age and will delete any such accounts on discovery (COPPA and GDPR). You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. One account per person; duplicate or sock-puppet accounts created to manipulate leaderboards, streaks, or accuracy may be suspended.
4. Account rules
- One account per person. Username and profile must not impersonate another person, brand, or official entity.
- You are responsible for all activity on your account. Notify kalleditappteam@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
- You may sign in with email/password or Google OAuth. Email verification is required.
- Edit your username, display name, avatar, bio, social links, payment handles, and notification preferences anytime in Edit profile.
5. Prediction rules
- Lock before the event: Every prediction must be created and locked before the underlying event begins. Late submissions are rejected automatically.
- Immutability: Once locked, a prediction’s title, predicted outcome, category, event date, share slug, and creation timestamp cannot be edited. This is enforced at the database level.
- Sports predictions: Must include a valid future event date with timezone. Submissions without an event date are rejected.
- Grading: Predictions are graded by automated verification (Google plus ESPN cross-check for sports) and, where needed, by a moderator. You may delete a prediction before it is graded; once graded, the result and your accuracy stats are permanent.
- Rate limits: Maximum 20 predictions per hour per account.
6. Leaderboard, points, and reputation
- Leaderboards rank users by accuracy and graded volume. Rank movement is derived from periodic snapshots.
- Prediction Points are an in-app reputation score for correct predictions and correct backings. They are not money, have no cash value, and cannot be withdrawn, traded, or redeemed.
- Gaming the system — coordinated voting, multi-accounts, scripted submissions, fake events, manipulating verification — results in score reset and suspension.
7. Profile sharing and public content
Your username, display name, avatar, bio, public predictions, graded results, leaderboard rank, badges, streaks, and follow graph are public and accessible via your profile URL and QR code. Anyone with the link can view them, including search engines and social media previews. Mark a prediction private at creation if you do not want it public.
8. User content and license
You retain ownership of predictions you create. By posting publicly, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content as part of operating the service, including share previews, leaderboards, and embedded receipts. You are solely responsible for what you post.
9. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to: harass others, post illegal content, spam, scrape at scale, bypass security, impersonate others, infringe intellectual property, post sexual content involving minors, promote violence, coordinate fraud or wagering pools, run bots or automated submissions, manipulate verification, create multiple accounts to inflate stats, or otherwise abuse the platform. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion, with or without notice.
10. No financial advice and non-gambling positioning
Predictions on KALLED.IT are personal opinions, not investment, legal, or medical advice. KALLED.IT does not facilitate gambling, betting, wagering, sportsbooks, prize pools, or any activity where users risk money or anything of value to win money or anything of value. Optional in-app purchases (Prediction Points packs, subscriptions) buy platform features and reputation score, never a chance to win money.
11. Account suspension and termination
We may suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your account if you violate these Terms, abuse other users, manipulate verification or leaderboards, or if required by law. Suspended users may appeal by emailing kalleditappteam@gmail.com.
12. Account deletion
You can permanently delete your account from Edit profile → Danger zone at any time. Deletion is immediate and removes your profile, predictions, comments, follows, notification tokens, and authentication records. See our Privacy Policy for what is retained (e.g. legally required payment records) and the backup roll-off timeline.
13. Service availability and platform limitations
The service is provided "as is" without warranties. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free verification, or that any particular prediction will be graded within a specific timeframe.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KALLED.IT and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
15. Dispute resolution and governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will first be addressed by good-faith negotiation; if unresolved within 30 days, they will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, not in a class proceeding. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing kalleditappteam@gmail.com.
16. Copyright (DMCA)
To report copyright infringement or submit a takedown notice, see our DMCA policy or email kalleditappteam@gmail.com.
17. Apple App Store terms
If you downloaded the KALLED.IT iOS app from the Apple App Store, you also agree to Apple’s standard EULA. Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app or its content; however, Apple is a third-party beneficiary entitled to enforce these Terms against you.
18. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
